
The Upper West Regional Police Headquarters has had a massive Transfer affecting the Upper West Regional Police Commander, DCOP Prince Gabriel Waabu.
The Regional Commander, DCO Prince Gabriel Waabu who took over from DCOP Peter Ndekugri Anambugri in 2022 will be reassigned to the National Headquarters whilst DCOP Darko Offei Lomotey takes over the Upper West Region.
Statement issued by the Upper West Regional Coordinating Council on the Thursday 7th December 2023.
DCOP Prince Waabu Took Over On the 4th of October 2023 a Year Ago as Regional Commander after Serving as Deputy Regional Commander (2IC) for several months.
“This morning, the new Regional Police Commander, DCOP Darko Offei Lomotey was sworn in as a member of the Regional Security Council. Members of the Council seized the opportunity to share some thoughts with the new Regional Police Commander.”
Meanwhile the Upper West Regional Public Relations Officer, Chief Inspector Gideon Ohene Boateng was Transferred few Months before the Upper West Regional Commander was Transferred.
