The Newly Outdoored Upper West Regional Police Commander, Darko Offei Lomotey Took Over from Former Commander DCOP Prince Gabriel Waabu who was in charge since October 2022.

Mr. Lomotey was outdoored at the Office of the Upper West Regional Minister, Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih.

He was welcomed by Several Staff of the Upper West Regional Coordinating Council (RCC).

Meanwhile the Outgoing Commander, DCOP Prince Gabriel Waabu has been elevated to the National Headquarters and assigned higher tasks to take charge of.

DCOP Mr. Darko Offei Lomotey was the Upper East Regional Commander and he is deputized by ACP Mr. Joseph Wusi Darison.
He was replaced in Upper East Region by ACP Mr. Raymond Wejong Ali Adofiem as the Upper East Regional Commander and deputized by ACP Mr. Joseph Wusi Darison before he left the Region on 6th December 2023.

Mr. Darko Offei introduced several security and road safety initiatives in his former office, Upper East Region including Trafficgh in Partnership with the National Road Safety Authority when he was commander to reduce road carnages

DCOP Dr. Gariba Pabi Sayibu was Succeeded by DCOP Darko Offei Lomotey on the 29th of August 2022 after which he [Gariba] proceeded to the central region.
