An Ex Convict popularly known as Fatawu Balawa was assassinated between Tanina and Ponyentanga in the Wa West District of Upper West Region few days ago.

Before his Demise, he initially admitted being into Kleptomania but quickly reiterated that his descendants will pay for all the crimes he had committed in the past.

He made the statements in an interview with DJ Chicago known in real life as Hussein Gogga during an interview after he was released from prison custody.

Hussein popularly known as DJ Chicago posed a question to him ” Why are you of the view that there is nothing like a thief in Society?”

The late Ex Convict Fatawu from Balawa used the Opportunity on Air to disclaim that there was nothing like a ‘Thief’ known in Waali as ‘Nanyige’ in Society. Statement Below:

Why I said there is no thief in Society is because, as you sit here, maybe I me you outside riding, so because I’m stronger, I overpowered you and took away your motorbike sold it out and spent the money, in your mind you’ll call me a thief but I won’t be paying you back, a great grand child of mine will pay back that motorbike to you, my great grand child will buy a car on the future and you the victim I attacked, who knows? You grand child will also attack my great grand child and snatch his car…

Meanwhile Several People are of the View that he Liaised with the Police Intelligence Division (PID) to Betray some of his friends, a reason he was probably Assassinated to prevent a repeat of that, he had also been accused of masterminding Robbery attacks in areas including the Wa West District.

His body was Conveyed to the Upper West Regional Hospital for Investigations to be conducted.
