This December Marks a milestone for Doctor Titus Beyuo, the Lambussie NDC Parliamentary Candidate who has attained the status of Associate Professor Of Obstetrics And Gynaecology at the University of Ghana.

Statement

This is indeed a season of glad tidings.
The journey from being a herdsman (boy), drivers mate, truck pusher, through Pong Tamale Experimental school, Martyrs of Uganda basic school, POJOSS and Universities of Ghana and Utrecht (Netherlands) has been both exciting and challenging.
Obtaining the terminal qualifications in my field of specialty available in the subregion ie Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons and the Ghana college of Surgeons, looked like I had arrived but no.

God said it was just the beginning. Then came a PhD from Utrecht university, last year December then I thought that was the best Christmas gift ever. I was wrong, not when you are a work in progress under this God, the God who directs the step of the righteous.

He has done it again and it comes 7 days to Christmas. The big announcement is finally here and it’s official – promoted to ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OF OBSTETRICS AND GYNAECOLOGY, University of Ghana.
It is a humbling moment and the feeling is surreal. I am grateful to my Teachers and mentors in the profession (past and present), to my colleagues, my students and my patients for the diverse roles you have played in my life.

I am eternally grateful to my family for their support through the years.
To Vera and the boys, this is yours. You deserve this more than I do. You paid the price for all of these little strides we are making in life. God bless.
