The Upper West Regional Prisons has received a New Commander after ADP (Rtd) Joseph Miyella retired on the 15th Of December 2023.

He was pulled out of office per the Policies of Ghana Prisons Service to mark a positive retirement and exit from office.

ADP (Rtd) Joseph Miyella has been replaced by ADP. James B. Nminyelle today Thursday 21st December 2023 and was formerly Introduced to the Region at the Upper West Regional Minister’s Office.

The New Regional Commander of the Ghana Prisons Service, ADP. James B. Nminyelle was introduced to me by the outgone Commander, ADP (Rtd) Joseph Miyella. I urged ADP Nminyelle to build on the foundation laid by his predecessor.
