Wife of the Hon Member of Parliament for Lambussie constituency, Bamie Mary Assumpta as part of her annual routine activities, celebrated this year’s Christmas with some women groups in the Lambussie constituency.

Madam Mary Bamie embraced the joyous spirit of Christmas by joining women groups in some communities for a memorable celebration. With her warm smile and infectious enthusiasm, she brought an aura of happiness and camaraderie to the festivities.Her presence was an inspiration to everyone, as she demonstrated the importance of unity and togetherness during this special time of the year.

During the occasion, she actively participated in various activities planned for the women, making sure every moment was filled with laughter and merriment. From exchanging thoughtful gifts to singing and dancing, she made sure that everyone felt included and valued. Indeed, her genuine interest in connecting with each individual created an atmosphere of belonging and strengthened the bond among the women in the various communities .

As if that was not enough, her presence served as a reminder of the value of community involvement. By celebrating Christmas with the women, she highlighted the need to support one another and create opportunities for meaningful connections.

She used the opportunity to state that, so far over 300 women groups consisting of 20-30 persons in each group have been supported by the Legislator across the constituency.She added that, those who haven’t received such support yet, should exercise patients as it gets to their turn soon. On that score, she donated some food items and undisclosed amount of cash to support the women groups to expand their trading activities, with the view to assisting them earn extra income and eradicate absolute poverty.

Her dedication to fostering a sense of unity and goodwill was evident in her efforts to make the celebration a memorable and enjoyable experience. Through her actions, Mrs. BALIGI exemplified the true spirit of Christmas and left a lasting impression on the women groups.
