The National Democratic Congress is Set to hold it’s 24-,Hour Economy Campaign Walk within the Principal Streets of Wa in The Upper West Region as a means of creating Awareness and Education the masses of it’s Relevance and how it’s set to be implemented should the NDC be voted into Power In 2024.

The Walk will begin at the Ministries Block and will feature several sympathizers of the Party from All walks of Life including the Former President of Ghana HE John Dramani Mahama, Some NDC Executives of Sawla-Tuna-Kalba Constituency, NDC Executives of Bole-Bamboi, Upper West Regional, Constituency and Branch NDC Executives.

Former President and flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has been trumpeting a 24-hour economy that he believes will breathe fresh life into the ailing Ghanaian economy.

This decision has received varied opinions from individuals, politicians, civil society organizations, and the business community.

Whereas the proposal has been hailed by NDC members as the blueprint for resolving the worsening unemployment rate and wobbly economy, members of the governing New Patriotic Party say it’s a bogus idea and an afterthought.

Meanwhile, the opposition party has released more details on the proposed 24-hour economy.
