
The Member of Parliament for Nandom Constituency, Lawyer Ambrose Dery has issued a statement concerning his candidature as Aspirant to represent Nandom Constituency in Parliamentary on the Ticket of the NPP.
The Lawmaker who doubles as Interior Minister was at Upland Hotel in Wa on Thursday 4th January 2024 for his vetting and has been declared to go Unopposed after His contender Alois Mohl was Disqualified for going against sections of the Party’s Constitution including Article 3(9)(1) which kicks against standing for an election as independent candidate or campaigning for an independent candidate..
Statement of Lawyer Ambrose Dery Below:
I’ve answered them to the best of my ability. I’m happy with the questions that I get. It is the committee that will come out with this decision. I wouldn’t take them, but for me, I am very satisfied with the vetting.
And I look forward to the outcome of the vetting here. And I believe that after that, I will then know the direction I go with the party in Nando. But I’m confident.
I’m contented. How has it been? I’m not bothered. Well, I’m contented Well, the contender is going for vetting. I would not like to criticise his vetting. Thank you very much.
Lawyer Ambrose Dery will be seeking for a second Term in the 2024 general elections after he has been declared to go Unopposed by the Vetting Committee in Wa on Thursday 4th January 2024.
