
Vetting of NPP Parliamentary Aspirants was held in Wa on the 4th of January 2024, Lawmakers for Nandom, Lawyer Ambrose Dery and Lambussie Constituency’s Dr. Bright Baligi will go Unopposed with exception of Sissala East’s Amidu Issahaku Chinnia.
These are the statements issued by NPP Parliamentary Aspirants of Sissala East ahead of the Primaries Slated for Saturday, 27th January 2024.
Statement of Mr. Amidu Issahaku Chinnia Below:
Sissala East has gotten a good share of development. In terms of roads, we are having a major water project that you yourself came and covered the handing over of site.
And the contractor is in advance to completing an over 80 million water projects which will take care of our population beyond 20 years. Tumu is getting a very standard Astro Turf in the Tumu Spots Stadium for the first time.
There are several Boreholes that I have drilled across the constituency. There are roads that have been done, there are health facilities that have been done. In terms of employment, I have fronted and supported and pushed with a lot of young people within my constituency to get employment.
I have also supported a lot of young people, especially young ladies, in the area of skilled development. So, generally my works at the national level is outstanding. My visit to the constituency and interaction with the constituency is outstanding.
And my performance in terms of the deliverables in the constituency is outstanding. And that is what will make the brick the fall in the Basisala East.

Statement of Dr. Kingsley Jabuntie Zaato Below:
Earlier today and as part of the internal processes leading to the parliamentary primaries of the NPP on January 27, I appeared before the party’s vetting committee in Wa.
Thank God it was a smooth experience, and I secured the coveted number 2 position on the ballot. This spot has been ordained by God and the gods of the land to be the victory spot. I am humbled and motivated by the show of support and will not relent in my pursuit for victory and drive to bring better and improved leadership to my beloved Sissala East.
