Mobile Telecommunication Giant, MTN Ghana has explained why and when Kukpali, a farming community in the Wa West District will have reliable network for calls and Internet services.

This was Revealed on the 4th of October 2023 after a Journalist, Digme Kantayir Robert probed to know why the Community has been sidelined for so long.

Statement from the Journalist Below:

A community in Wa West applied to MTN to help them get network coverage, that is Kukpali, it was facilitated by the JHS Headmaster so at the office, they kept giving him dates to return, for about 2 years now whenever he goes to the office, a different reason is given so he finally gave up.

I want to know what means through which communities can apply to get this access to network, it’s a cut off area and there has always been this armed robbery incidents there and when it happens like that you can’t call anyone.

According to MTN Ghana, they have a map of all areas with network issues but cannot roll out services at every corner within the shortest possible time, it’s part of our plan but we’ll check to see if it’s part of our next year roll out (2024).
