Over 200,000 inhabitants of Wa Municipality are compelled to gamble with their lives on the majororads of Wa after traffic indicators in the heart of town have stopped functioning.

The Affected road safety tools are located on the principal streets including the JJ Rawlings High Street and the Dodoo Street in Wa.

Assembly Member Elect for Kperisi Electoral Area located in the Wa Municipality, Hon. Yahaya Abdul Waliu popularly known as A. Walid has on Wednesday 17th January 2024, expressed concerns over the the shaky situations on our roads in the absence of the traffic indicators for over four months.

“I keep wondering what at all could be the damage level of the Wa OLD TRAFFIC that is down for the past 4moths or more now and can’t be fixed! And the media is silent🤐”

Meanwhile some police officers of the MTTD have been assigned to the spot to control the traffic.
