On the 19th of January 2023, the Ghana Institute of Social Democracy, the ideological institution of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), organized a joint orientation for the Savannah and Upper West Regions at Wuripe Lodge in the Bole-Bamboi Constituency.

Attendees included elected officers of NDC at the regional level, NDC Members of Parliament, NDC Parliamentary Candidates, NDC Regional Council of Elders, and Appointed Regional Officers of the Savannah and Upper West Regions.

The purpose of the orientation was to enhance the capacity of NDC regional officers and equip them with essential skills, knowledge, and information on party management and team building.

Facilitators for the orientation were Comrade Dr. William Ahadzie and Comrade Dr. Peter Boamah Otokunor, the rector and registrar of the Ghana Institute of Social Democracy.

As the NDC gears up to take power from the current NPP government, it is crucial that party officers are well-versed in party unity, teamwork, and the ideological foundations of the NDC.

This knowledge is essential for effectively steering the affairs of the party, managing different teams, and conveying the progress messages of the NDC and HE John Dramani Mahama leading up to the NDC victory in 2024.

On behalf of the host Regional Chairman, Alhaji Seidu Imoro Man-Blessing (Chairman Bulldozer), I extend heartfelt appreciation to the national leadership of the NDC, including the Flagbearer H.E John Dramani Mahama, National Chairman Hon Johnson Aseidu Nketia, and the General Secretary Hon Fiifi Fiave Kwetey, for organizing this crucial orientation session to promote continuous learning among NDC party officers.

It is worth noting that with such initiatives, the NDC as a party will remain competitive, and its officers will continually adapt to the ever-changing social, political, and economic environments in Ghana.

Together, we shall deliver Ghana from the hands of the incompetent NPP government in the 2024 General Elections.
