The District Chief Executive for Sissala West District, Madam Aisha Batong-Hor has had her appointment as DCE revoked by President Akufo-Addo in a Letter Dated 2nd February 2024 and Copied to the Vice President and the Chief of Staff.

In All twenty four MMDCEs were sacked, one from Upper West Region and one from Savannah Region, precisely Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District.

Madam Aisha Batong-Hor Took Over after Mohammed Bakor was Suspended ahead of the December 2020 General Elections on the 29th of september 2020.

REVOCATION OF APPOINTMENT AS DISTRICT CHIEF EXECUTIVE
In accordance with article 243 (3) (b) of the Constitution, and section 20 (3) (b) of the LOcal Government Act, 2014, (Act 936), I write to inform you that I have revoked the appointments of the following persons as District Chief Executives.

The President Directed that that the Chief of Staff Acts Quickly in the Directive and Assured that their replacements will be shortlisted.
