The Upper West Regional Police Headquarters is most Likely to be moved from its present location on the Furguson Street to Wa Sombo on the Wa Maase Road.

This Was Disclosed by the Upper West Regional Coordinating Council after Inspection was carried out by Members of the Regional Coordinating Council accompanied by the Upper West Regional Commander of Ghana Police Service, DCOP Darko Offei Lomotey on Friday 9th February 2024.

Statement from the Upper West Regional Minister

Together with the Regional Police Commander, DCOP Mr. Darko Offei Lomotey, officials of the RCC, and the Regional Police Command, we visited the construction site of the new Regional Police Headquarters in Wa to assess the progress of work.

We were satisfied with the quality and progress of the work. We were assured that by the end of June 2024, the work on the office block would be completed.
