Some Assembly Members have voted No in the Process of Endorsing Mohammed Forkor as DCE after he was Nominated by President Akufo-Addo in the First Week of February.

Voting Was held today, 20th February 2024 and in the Process Mohammed Forkor who is currently the Party’s Organizer Polled the following Results According to Radford FM:

18 Yes Votes for Mohammed Forkor,
12 No Against Him.
1 Rejected Vote

Out of the 31 assembly members,.

YES = 18

NO = 12

REJECTED = 1

Members reconvened and house adjourned to 10 days time (2 weeks).

He has another chance in the Next 10 Days Per Constitutional Provisions of the Local Government Act Established in 1993. He Needed at least 2/3 of the House Behind Him to sail through.

Reports from Gwollu are that the atmosphere around the voting area is tensed with high security According to Radford FM.

Mr. Mohammed Forkor will Over from Madam Aisha Batong-Hor if he is confirmed as DCE for the Area in 10 Days Ahead. Ten Days Ahead shall be 1st of March 2024 which is on Friday.
