A former Upper West Regional Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) who doubled as MCE of Wa Central in the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama Administration, Hon. Issahaku Nuhu Putiaha was Amongst over five personalities appointment to steer the affairs of the National Democratic Congress to victory in December 2024.

As a governence person, I was successfully inaugurated into the Committee on Governance along governance experts such as my boss, fmr Chief of Staff & fmr Local Government Minister,Hon.Julius Debrah,fmr Secretary to Cabinet, Hon. Prosper Baani, former Youth and Sports Minister and fmr Dep.Local Government Minister,Hon Nii Lamtey Vandapoye,fmr Local Government Minister, Hon, Akwasi Oppong-Foso, etc
I also serve in other committees at the national level.

He was appointed alongside some top personalities from the Upper West Region including Alhaji Alhassan Gbangu, Dr. Sharif Mahamud Khalid, Alhaji Nurideen Froko Also Known as Alanky, Hajia Alijata Gbantie, former MP for Sissala East and Former MP for Lambussie, Mr Edward Dery.
