
A Senior Lecturer with the Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University, Mr. Mubashir Bamie has highlighted on a finding he had about an Anthropologist and his Ethnography Research about the Sissala Areas of then Upper Region.
In An Engagement with Some Research Students of the University, He Indicated that in 1927 an Anthropologist travelled to the Sissala Belt to settle and conduct a Research, in his findings he concluded that close to 3 Years before the 21st Century, there will be no tribe Called Sissala Tribe.
He gave area so that lots of Sissala Used to travel and settle in other places such as Accra and it’s Neighboring Regions.
The Anthropologist stated that the Sissala Tribe was shrinking as at 1927.
He concluded that by 1998 there will be no tribe called Sissala tribe.
He used Ethnography Research.
However, That didn’t come through because Sissala people stopped migrating, people read the research and changed.
Mr. Mubashir Pointed at the Gap between Jeffisi, Pulima Tumu indicating there were settlers there as at then. Some Died and Some Travelled.
Mr. Bamie is a Mathematician and Senior Lecturer with the Information Technology Department of Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University.
