Assembly Member for Giriyri Electoral Area in the Nadowli-Kaleo District, Hon. Nestor Mwintiribu has amassed scarce resources to support a Disabled School Student from Vogonni to Continue to Pursue formal Education without Physical Setbacks. The Wheel Chair was Donated in the Presence of the Student’s Mother who is a Widow on 20th March 2024.

Statement from the Assembly Member

It was so pathetic meeting Julius Dakorah, a basic 6 pupil from Vogonni struggling with countless falls on ground to access primary education at Goriyiri RC. His disability fueled truancy for years which brought about academic retrogression. Goriyiri RC Headteacher described Julius as a brilliant but special need pupil. I committed myself to getting him a tri-wheeled-cycle. By his grace, Julius smiles on it today. Julius mother who is a poor widow mentioned uniform, school sandals and note/exercise books as some of the challenges she is currently battling with and humbly appealed for support. Julius will be in JHS next academic year. Let’s together help Julius achieve his dream of becoming an Engineer in future.
