An Islamic Community by name Ahlussunna-Wal-Jama’a headed by Sheikh Gaus in the Upper West Region has parted ways with one of their Scholars by Name Mr. Saeed Yahaya popularly known as Japan Man.

The Statement was released by Radio Mak In the Wa Municipality on Sunday 24th of March 2024 and Dated 18th March 2024.

In the Statement Copied to the Upper West Regional Security Council, Regional State Attorney, Regional Prisons Service, Regional Immigration Service and the Commission of Human Rights and Administrative Justice(CHRAJ) it reads.

I write to officially bring to your attention that Mr SAEED YAHAYA aka JAPAN MAN is no more recognized scholar or member of Ahlassunna wal Jama’a (Sunai) community in the upper west region.

it is therefore imperative to clarify that JAPAN MAN does not hold any official position within ASWAJ and he is not authorized to act or represent us in any capacity. We kindly request the public to refrain from associating him with the group (ASWAJ) or its activities.
