The Manwe CHPS Zone was closed to patients in need of health care delivery today 10th April 2024, at 02:10GMT when Upper West Media Team Visited the Place to ascertain how work was going on at the facility.

A lady we met on her way to the facility was compelled to return home after she met the facility locked.Some lights were left on in the CHPS offices whilst the place was locked.

The team knocked on several doors but nobody responded.

Speaking with Assembly Member for Manwe Electoral Area, Hon. Adams Iddrisu, he indicated that a you g man by name Williams was supposed to be at post but was reported to have left to Town.

There has been several tags on the Wa East District including workers abandoning their posts to Wa on working days and at working Hours.

Some Residents of Wa East indicated that there are times some workers report to work once in a Week in the District, a development that is being investigated by several Stakeholders.
