The State of Town Roads in Wa Are becoming better after some major roads were awarded on Contract.

The Wa To Charia Road was Awarded in Last quarter of 2023, it has been tarred so far after Upper West Media Team visited the Community to assess the roads in March 2024.

However some community members praised the Wa Municipal Assembly headed by Hon. Issahaku Tahiru Moomin for the work done and also had some concerns with some indicating that the roads constructed had no gutters aside them to protect it from West and tear. A aged bridge Linking a section of the road to Wa T.I Ahmadiyya SHS developed some cracks and is currently being attended to, the road has been Diverted as a result.

Kambali – Duori Road

The Kambali to Duori Road Awarded to P&W Ghanem Ltd is also close to being Tarred after a major bridge limited motorists from Using the road was constructed, the road is proposed to be completed before the End of 2024.

Jong Road

The Jonga Road is being worked on by Two Contractors per Upper West Media Sources and is currently being gravelled per our checks in the Middle of April.
