As Part of An Annual Afforestation Initiative to Improve Ghana’s Tree Cover, Mr. Nuhu Bayorbo Mahama, Chief Executive Officer of Students Loan Trust Fund and Past Student of Lassia Tuolu SHS has Visited his Former School to Improve it’s Tree Cover.

He also used the Opportunity to Mentor Students Present on the Need to Protect trees and plant more of them in order to enhance oxygen Distribution by Nature.

The School’s Dining Hall was Razed by Fire on Sunday 10th March 2024, Over 800 Students were sent home by then.

Green Ghana Day Exercise by The CEO

“..We are here because of Green Ghana Campaign, over the years there has always been a day set aside that is observed Nationally that we plant trees to protect our environment and as a Fund, the Students Loan Trust Fund, every year we select a particular school, we go there and plant trees, we’ve gone to the Volta Region, Central Region, Eastern Region, Greater Accra and some other places, this year, i decided that we are coming back home, The exercise is going to be done in Lassia.”

Hon. Nuhu Mahama Discouraged Muslim Students from Attempting to Defy School Rules and Regulations based on their Denominations.

“..My Muslim brothers and sisters, Lassia Tuolu SHS is a Catholic School, the Catholics built this school based in their principles and values, the school is governed by Catholic principles, When you wanted to Select a School after Junior High School you chose Lassia Tuolu SHS when you knew it was a Catholic School so the school won’t change their rules because of You, If twenty of you should leave there are over hundreds of you waiting to come inn..”

Mr. Nuhu Bayorbo Mahama Assured the School of his Support when the Need arises Urging students to be law abiding and focus on their books, he discouraged them from Engaging in any form of Exam Malpractices.
