Ghana’s Main Opposition Party the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has lashed out at Ghana’s Roads Ministry and New Patriotic Party for excluding vital projects in their SOCO Contracts being executed Accross Upper West Region.

According Mr. Issah Kantagyere Bonsingmwini in a Radio Program Hosted by Radio Progress on Tuesday 18th June 2024, he indicated that the SOCO project Monitored by Roads Minister, Mr. Asenso Boakye who doubles as Member of Parliament for Bantama Constituency.”..The SOCO Road project includes Health Centers and Irrigation Dams..”

He Urged the Akufo-Addo led government to review the project to include those facilities and Dams.

Districts Benefiting from the SOCO project includes Wa West, Wa Municipality, Wa East District, Nadowli-Kaleo District.
