Dr. Edward Nminnyour Gyader a celebrated surgeon In Ghana from Nandom-piiri in the Upper West Region has been Reported dead Today 10th July 2024.

Known for his dedicated services and exceptional skills in performing complex surgeries. His medical expertise earned him a stellar reputation, international recognition, and numerous accolades.

In addition to his medical career, Dr. Edward Nminnyour Gyader was a man of many talents. He was a politician, sportsman, hunter, and a devoted Catholic. In the early 1990s, he ran for office in the then Lawra-Nandom district under the ticket of the People’s National Convention (PNC), although he was not elected to represent his people in parliament

He attended Brutu Middle School for his Basic School Education, Nandom and proceeded to Government Secondary School, Tamale (GSST/TAMASCO).

Dr. Gyader contributions to healthcare and his community have left a lasting impact. His passing is a significant loss to both the medical field and the various communities he served.

He is survived by his son and daughter, who will continue his legacy.

Dr. Gyader was Dean of School of Medicine, University for Development Studies (UDS) and Past council of State Member in the erstwhile President John Dramani Mahama Administration.

He was the CEO of Sir Gyader Clinic Before his Demise. The clinic has branches in several parts of Upper West including Kpaguri in the Wa Municipality.
