A Huge crowd of Aggrieved youth on Saturday 13th July 2024, marched through the principal Streets of Wa In the Upper West Region to express their dismay over incessant killing of Security Men and Mentally Unstable Persons in the Regional Capital of Upper West Region.

The Group Known as Labadi Camp in Kambali was accompanied by other sympathisers and Dignitaries in the Region including The Chief Executive Officer of BAHASS Foundation, Mr. Yussif Baba, The Member of Parliament for Wa Central Constituency, Dr Rashid, Mr. Issahaku Nuhu Putiaha, Former MCE of Wa Central, Issahaku Suleman, Former CPP Parliamentary Aspirant for Wa Central, Some Assembly Members, Police Officers et al.

It can be recalled that the Member of Parliament for Wa Central Constituency Pledged to Give out Ghc100,000 to any individual who gives lead or Relaible information in order to apprehend the serial killers in Wa, He spoke during the Demonstration Exercise and in his statement, he said:

“I’m deeply saddened by the serial killings, this can’t be tolerated anywhere, we will do the best we can to get to the bottom of this, that was why i made a pledge of Ghc100,000 to anyone who brings relevant information that will lead to the arrest of the suspects. I’m urging state security to do their work diligently, we expect prolific results from you in order to end this Unfortunate developments..”

Several People have been killed in bussare circumstances in the Wa Municipality since April 2022.

The recent issues Occured on 18th and 19th of June at Wa East GES Office and Wa Model Junior High School Respectively.
