The Lawmaker of Lambussie Constituency, Dr. Bright Baligi has issued a Statement after a Man was Found Dead in Pool of Blood at Yatuo Yiri, A Farming Community in the Lambussie District.

According to an Eyewitness [Name Withheld] some abled men stormed their farm and out of fear they had to run away leaving the victim who is name is yet to be known at the farm close to Buliteng Road.

1. I am deeply saddened and disheartened by the recent security crisis in our dear constituency, which has resulted in the tragic loss of a life and left several others with various degrees of injury. Despite the strenuous efforts at securing peace, these attacks have, rather, taken us aback and shaken our district to its core.
2. I want to extend my sincerest condolences to the bereaved family, who have suffered an irreparable loss, and to all those who sustained aggravated degrees of injuries.
3. I strongly condemn these attacks – indeed, we all must, which have not only taken a devastating toll on human life but also undermined the progress we have made in promoting peace and development.
4. Indeed, without more, the recent situation has jeopardized the agreement and resolution signed onto by all parties to securing a peaceful and table environment conducive to growth and development.
5. I urge all residents to remain calm and peaceful, even in the face of this adversity, while the law enforcement agencies do their work. We have co-existed peacefully for decades and will continue to live together.
6. I reiterate my commitment to working tirelessly with the relevant stakeholders to address the security concerns and ensure that our constituency is a safe and secure place for everyone.
