Mr. Kweku Sagoe, Principal Manager of Students Loan Trust Fund in Charge of Loans and Disbursement has answered some critical questions pertaining to taking a student loans from the Fund to Sponsor ones education in an Accredited Tertiary institution.

Speaking to a Group of Students at Wa Islamic Senior High School on the 24th of July 2024, he indicated that the rate is lowest in the country compared to what Banks Offer, he added that Government moved from SSNIT Loans to STLF to create room for more Students to have access to their Loans without a Guarantor, all a student needs is A Ghana Card.He Continued That the Fund has disbursed Sums of Monies to Over 67,000 Students Accross the Country for Payment of School Fees.

Mr. Kweku Sagoe Urged Students of Islamic Senior High School To Make Good Use of the Opportunity to Fund their Education at the Tertiary Level when they are done with SHS Education.

Chief Executive Officer of Students Loan Trust Fund, Mr Nuhu Bayorbo Mahama Encouraged students to be Optimistic in School adding that Education is the only path to a breakthrough in life.He pointed to the fact that he came from a humble beginning and through perseverance he was able to effectuate his dream as a Certified Account.

He also Urged the Students to Do their Best in Maintaining the Current Government in Power due to efforts the government has put In place to support their educate through the free SHS Policy, He added that another government will not hesitate to cancel Teacher Trainee Allowances, Nursing Trainee Allowances if they are allowed back into power.
