During the Walk to Reset Ghana and Campaign Launch Bulenga on the 17th of August 2024, NDC’S Constituency Secretary for Wa East, Mr. Yakubu Jendaw has expressed optimism that the NDC can retain the Their Parliamentary seat despite contesting the incumbent DCE, Dr. Ewura Kandia Sulemana who doubles as NPP Parliamentary Candidate of the Area.

“We have the weakest candidate as competitor, last elections we whipped them with more than 7,000 votes, this year we are hoping to double it Inshallah, We keep asking the DCE, what have you done, you as the DCE, you’ve Auctioned a car that is just Eight Years, assembly’s resources was used to purchase that car, you’ve Auctioned that car to yourself, you’ve kept your posters on that car NR-316-16, just Eight Years, you’ve Auctioned that car to yourself and you want to be MP”.

He Added that the DCE Cannot Account for the District’s Internally Generated Funds.

“You as DCE, you cannot Account for our IGF, for the past eight years he hasn’t successfully connected any community to the national grid”.Meanwhile, Mr. Ewura Kandia Sulemana, NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Wa East Constituency is yet to respond to his statements.
