This development comes after a series of targets by armed robbery, the latest one being the Welembelle case on the 17th of August,2024, where two lives were wasted.

The chairman of mobile money vendors in Sisaala has, therefore, called on all vendors to suspend operations till stakeholders call on security to wake up from slumber.

This development has left patrons of mobile money Stranded and in awe, as monies can neither be withdrawn nor transferred either to relatives or for business transactions.

Some concerned persons are calling for a swift response from both stakeholders and momo vendors since this will have adverse effects on the local economy.
