Some Stakeholders are taking steps to investigate circumstances surrounding the unavailability of furniture for students to use during their examinations.

Some Students of Ullo SHS on Monday, 19th August 2024 were spotted writing an Examination on uncomposed desks, drawing attention and criticisms.

According to Princess Zaato, a Native of Jirapa Municipality, the situation is embarrassing and disappointing. She added that desks were donated During the 1 child 1desk project last year, 2023.

Statement

I have seen this pictures trending on social media.
From Upper West Media, and the school is Ullo senior high school located in the Upper West Region.
During the 1 child 1desk project last year We donated some desk to the school through the Chief.

The Princess of Ullo. Princess Asana and her people equally donated some desk to the school some time ago.
The school didn’t have furniture /desk issues like we are seeing.

I’m disappointed in the school to see students sitting on desk like this to write their final exams When such desk could have been replaced easily. If someone or group of people donated school desk to the school. And the person wake up to see pictures like this of students writing their final exams sitting on desk like this

We even donated over 50 desk to Kogri JSH in Ullo
They have enough school desk. Which the school could have taken some from the school.
This matter with be investigated.
