Former MCE for Wa Municipality under Erstwhile Mahama Regime, Mr. Issahaku Nuhu Putiaha in a Statement Released on 23rd August 2024 has called upon the Upper West Regional Minister, Mr. Stephen Yakubu and Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Issahaku Tahiru Moomin to swiftly fix a malfunctioning traffic in The Heart of Town.

According to Him, the Necessary action will avert any carnage.

Statement

The current state of the Wa main traffic lights;both red and green, are shown at the same time, leaving a lot of the road users confused and stranded. Leadership (RM and MCE) must act quickly to avoid any carnage.

On the 7th June 2024, the Wa Main Traffic was fixed after several agitations by Stakeholders.
