Mr. Osman Ali, Upper West Regional Director of Electoral Commission has assured the National Democratic Congress NDC that their petition on the detection of widespread discrepancies in the provisional voters’ register and the need for an independent forensic Audit, has been received and shall be handed over to the National Headquarters of the Electoral Commission(EC).

“I want to Assure you that Right After Here, a Scanned Copy of the Petition will be Sent to the Headquarters of the Commission Urgently, The Hardcopies will Also Move from Wa to the Head Office Today”Mr. Osman Ali indicated that he is only to Serve as a conduit through which their petition shall be submitted to the headquarters of the Electoral Commission(EC).

“I will only be A Conduit to send these things to the Head Office and I Will Definitely Do That”.

The National Democratic Congress in Upper West Region walked through the Wa JJ Rawlings High Street to the Upper West Regional Office of the Electoral Commission to Submit their Petition to the Electoral Commission on Tuesday 17th September 2024.

The Petition was read by Dr. Rashid Hassan Pelpuo, Member of Parliament for Wa Central Constituency.
