Mr. Mohammed Sukparu , Member of Parliament for Sissala West Constituency has expressed concern over political affiliation of some permanent staff of the Electoral Commission of Ghana.

Speaking at Wa Sombo, The EC’s Upper West Regional Office on 17th of September 2024, He Called for Electoral Processes to be Respected.

“Electoral Processes Must Be Respected, You Can see What is Happening at the Electoral Commission, Many of the High-Ranking Officers in the Electoral Commission these Days are Partisan”.

He stated that Electoral Commission has Card Bearing members of New Patriotic Party (NPP).

“Electoral Commission has Card Bearing Members of the NPP”.

He called for Peace Council to be circumspect in their Activities.

“We are Sending a Signal to the Peace Council, Sending a Signal to the Entire Country that We Won’t Accept Any Rest Rather than the True Results”

Mr. Sukparu Stated that, Ghanaians have called for Change indicating that Ghanaians are no longer interested in leadership of the current Government.

“The People are Crying for Change and we don’t Expect The EC to Declare any Different Results that His Excellency John Dramani Mahama Winner for the Upcoming Elections.”

He tagged the EC as Incompetent in his statement to Upper West Media Team.

“We cannot be quiet and allow them to exhibit the Incompetence, the Partisan Approach”.

He Tagged EC, Madam Jean Mensa and Bossman Asare as Card Bearing Members of the New Patriotic Party(NPP)”From Jean Mensa Down to Bossman Asare are all Known Card Bearing Party Members of NPP”.
