A dazed Bat spotted at Kpongu Dogurihi has drawn the attention of some residents of the area with some suspecting it may have been infected with some diseases.

Speaking to observers, some indicated that the Bat was suffocating on a Shea tree close to a mechanic workshop, checks by Upper West Media Team confirmed the statement at about 3:30pm GMT, Saturday 28th September 2024.

The Upper West Regional Health Promotion Officer, Mr. John Maakpe V. Was called upon and he visited the scene few minutes after he was invited by Upper West Media Team.

He assessed the animal and assured checks were going to be carried out about the Animal Suspected to be a career of Some diseases.

“It may be hungry, looking at the foam coming out of its mouth, but I’ll refer this to some experts in the area of Animals to give us more details, I have forwarded pictures to them.”
