In a remarkable display of commitment to health, party and community development, Madam Khalida M A Seidu, the Upper West Regional Deputy Women’s Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), organized a comprehensive breast cancer screening and awareness campaign in the Nyoli community of the Wa West District.

This significant initiative aimed to educate and empower women about breast cancer, a health issue that affects many lives.


The campaign saw the participation many women from the Nyoli community, who were provided with essential information about breast cancer, its symptoms, prevention, and the importance of early detection. Through educational sessions and hands-on examinations, Madam Khalida and her team worked tirelessly to ensure that the women left with a better understanding of their health and the necessary steps to take for regular self-examinations and screenings.


In addition, Khalida demonstrated her dedication to the youth of the community by donating a football to the NDC youth group. This gesture not only promotes physical activity and teamwork among the youth but also fosters a sense of community spirit and engagement. Alongside the football, party T-shirts were also donated, serving as a symbol of unity and support for the party’s initiatives. During the event, Khalida took the opportunity to encourage the youth to remain active supporters of the party and its activities to ensure victory come December 7th.


Furthermore, Madam Khalida commitment to the NDC in the Nyoli community was further highlighted when she cut the sod for the construction of a party shed.

This facility will serve as a gathering place for party activities and community meetings, reinforcing the party’s presence and support within the community. By pledging her continued dedication and support, Madam Khalida has not only inspired confidence among the residents but has also set a precedent for future community-oriented initiatives.
