A grounded long vehicle with a registration number AS 7376 20 has developed a fault and was parked between the Wa Ferguson CR and JJ Rawlings High Street on 27th of October 2024.

The Vehicle has limited mobility of road users on one of the most busiest roads in Wa.

As at 2pm today 28th October 2024, the Vehicle was parked in front of the Wa Municipal Fire service station creating a blockage, if an emergency situation occurs, fire officers will have challenges moving through the Wa Nayiri Street to carryout their works.

The Wa Ferguson cross road according to experts, needs to be narrowed down to a smaller size due to it wide nature, several vehicles drivers have had difficulties going round the roundabout in the past because of its wide nature. Some drivers even at some instances fail in their driving duty and veer into the Wa Police Station.

Residents have called for woks to be done on the Roadabout.

Meanwhile, Efforts are in place to speak to the PRO of Wa Municipal Assembly Headed by Hon. Issahaku Tahiru Moomin to get more information about the way forward.
