Nurideen Mumuni, the Wa Municipal Director of NCCE has issued a caution to Residents of Wa Municipality to be wary of Foreigners who behave in ways contrary to international practices indicating such people can be intruders attempting to mar the peace of Ghana Before, During or After the Elections.

He made the Statement on 10th November 2024 During an Engagement with some Political Party Members and business owners in Wa

“If you compare the counties I have mentioned, we are the peaceful country among these..

Let’s send this message to people who are not here about foreigners in our midst…
Some of these foreigners may interfere in our activities to hinder our peaceful way of living.

To all of us renting or with those of us with our own houses, let’s pay attention to actions of foreigners.

If any foreigner acts suspicious, let’s report the person to the police.”

He assured that the Police shall keep such whistleblowers anonymous.

“The police will not reveal who reported the issues, they’ll keep you anonymous.”

He used the Opportunity to remind people present on number of days left to vote and measures they should take.

“We have about 27 days left to vote,
Let’s not destroy stickers of some political parties because don’t agree with our ideologies

Let’s also be careful with misinformation and Disinformation.”
