These are some of the fake Products that have flooded the market.

1. 3. Motor Spare Parts: How many time has the Standards Authority Assessed Spare parts in the market to determine how genuine they are, This has led to loss of huge sums of Money. Due to such substandard parts, the increasing demand for new motorbikes have become high due to the lack of trust for maintenance works. This has affected the economy greatly due to the incessant demand for imported bikes and Tricycles in Upper West Region.
4. Drugs/Herbal Medicine: Several People have complained of ineffective drugs in the Market, some which are herbal and others for sexual drive. Some of These substandard products are carried around by individuals including foreigners without business documents. Such medicines have increased kidney related cases in Some parts of the Region.
5. Engine Oil for Machines: Several Motorbike riders have complained of substandard oil products for their bikes and cars, according to them, this has damaged some of their machines unexpectedly compelling them to import new vehicles, we all know the effects of such imports to the economy due to influx of substandard products of that nature, Fuel isn’t an exception, some people have complained of fuel quality in the Region.
