The Member of Parliament for Wa Central Constituency, Dr. Rashid Hassan Pelpuo has objected to claims that he hardly picks calls as a member of Parliament.

This was during an Engagement with Media Personalities in Wa Central on Sunday 1st December 2024.

Mr. Najimdeen Yahaya indicated that, people were of the view that, the MP Hardly picks phone calls from his constituents.

“Several people claim you don’t pick their calls, how true is that?”

Responding to a query by Najimdeen Yahaya, A Journalist with WFM in Wa Central, Dr Pelpuo explained that, his phone has always been flooded with several calls and messages and he needs time to Attend to these calls and messages due to their volumes.

“I pick calls, one thing is that, I get so many calls and messages at a time and I need time to respond to them.. my phone has 26,000 Phone Numbers and I can get up to 400 Calls. There was a time my phone was unattended to from 8am to 1pm, by the time I checked I missed 400 Calls..”

Special Voting Exercise is going to be held in Wa on the 2nd of December 2024 Accross the Country with exception of Eastern and Western Regions According to the Electoral Commission. Upper West Region has 13 Special Voting Centers, 2 in Nandom, 2 in Wa Central and 1 each Accross the other 9 Constituencies.
