The former Interior Minister of Ghana who Doubled as MP for Nandom Constituency, lost his seat to Dr. Richard Kuu-ire, NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Nandom Constituency on the 7th of December 2024.

Dr. Richard Kuu-ire, A Prisons Officer by Profession polled Over 3000 votes higher than the Former Interior Minister.

Despite News circulating around Nandom Constituency indicating that the Former MP has provided Jobs and Improved Road Infrastructure of the Area, It didn’t guarantee the Lawmaker a third term In Parliament after he won the 2016 and 2020 General Elections.

Lawyer Ambrose Dery Was Replaced as Interior Minister with Henry Quartet, MP for Ayawasu Central Constituency. He was moved to the Office of the President.
