On the 22nd of December 2024, an accident involving two motorcycles on the Kowie Road claimed a life, with two still struggling for their lives at the Upper West Regional Hospital.

Eyewitness blamed the accident on the dust on the road that blurred the vision of the two opposing riders.

This was reported by Radford FM in Tumu. Accidents have become rampant this Christmas Season with Principal of Tumu College Of Education Also Reported Dead Today 23rd December 2024 in An Accident.

Some Individuals Also Opined that the Accident could be as a result of Over speeding.
