The Member of Parliament for Wa East, Dr. Seidu Jasaw, has assured the Paramount Chief of Bulenga Traditional Council that the next National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration is committed to completing the Dupare Girls Senior High School (SHS). The project, which was initiated in 2015 by the erstwhile NDC government, was abandoned by the outgoing New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration.

Dr. Jasaw’s assurance was conveyed by the Constituency Secretary of the NDC, Mr. Yakubu Jendaw, during the 3rd edition of the Chakali Maalebu Festival held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the forecourt of the Bulenga Traditional Council.

In addition to completing the Dupare Girls SHS, Mr. Jendaw also highlighted the next NDC administration’s commitment to providing potable water to underserved communities and extending electricity to remaining communities in the Chakali enclave without electricity.

The Chakali Maalebu Festival, which was held under the theme “Unity in diversity; the key for socio-economic development,” brought together community members, traditional leaders, and political stakeholders to promote unity and development in the area.
