Several districts in Upper West Region have a large geographical demarcation, making it difficult to travel around easily in order to have access to their District Capital.
Some districts have taken steps to move some offices to other populated areas in order to harmonize access to some public services.
Two Districts that have taken up such an initiative are, Daffiama-Bussie-Issa District and Wa East District.
The Wa East District has its Education office Situated in Bulenga located southwards of Funsi the Capital, the Office was initially located at Wa Konta but was moved to Bulenga after A Security Man was murdered at Thier office in Konta, the development created security concerns. Wa East has bad road connections affecting Communities including Loggu, Kulkpong, Duu, Jeyiri, Bulee etc
Lastly, at the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa District, The Education office of the District have been stationed at Daffiama located Westwards of the District whilst other offices are located in Issa, the capital.
