A Pregnant from the Nyoli Enclave in Wa West District was today, 28th December 2024 hauled and embarrassed at the Nyoli Market for stealing a dress.

According to sources explaining the development to Upper West Media Team, the lady stole a dress, kept it in a Polythene bag and in an attempt to move, was Apprehended and searched by a group of traders in the market. The dress was uncovered from the Polythene bag whilst some individuals intervened to to save the pregnant woman who was with a Child.

Several petty theft cases have been recorded in the Nyoli Market lately including the theft of maggi cubes from traders, a concern stakeholders are working to address.
