Mayor, Wa Metropolitan Assembly writes….
To My Dear Staff /Hon. Assembly members,
As I bid farewell to the Assembly after 8 years of dedicated service, I am filled with a mix of emotions as I leave behind a team I have grown to love and appreciate and with a great bond with most of you. I am grateful to the Almighty Allah for the guidance and protection throughout this journey and to His Excellency the President, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo, for the privilege given to me to serve as the municipal / Metropolitan Chief Executive. I am also excited that I have completed my turner successfully and for the new chapter that probably awaits me after here. Insha Lillah.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to each one of you for your tireless efforts, unwavering commitment, and unrelenting passion to deliver exceptional services and developments to our citizens. Your hard work, dedication, and teamwork have been the driving force behind our numerous achievements and successes.
During my tenure, we have worked together to achieve remarkable milestones, including [Wa Charia Road, Wa Jonga Road, wa Nakori Road, Kambala Dobile Link and the redevelopment of the central business district, among others. These accomplishments are a testament to our collective efforts and a reflection of our shared commitment to making our Metropolis a better place for all.
As I depart, I am confident that the Metropolis is in capable hands. I do not doubt that you will continue to work together to build on our successes and tackle new challenges.
To my successor who is not yet known to me, but I offer my warmest congratulations and best wishes to him or her as we await the appointing authority. I am confident that S/he will bring new energy, ideas, and perspectives to the role and take our Metropolis to even greater heights.
Before I go, I want to leave you with a few parting thoughts:
- Continue to put the needs of our citizens at the forefront of everything you do.
- Remain committed to excellence, innovation, and teamwork.
- Never lose sight of our metropolis vision and mission.
Thank you again for the privilege of serving alongside each of you. I will cherish the memories, lessons, and experiences we have shared.
