The Member of Parliament for Wa Central Constituency, Dr Rashid Pelpuo, has expressed gratitude for being selected to serve as Minister Designate for Labor, Jobs and Employment in the John Mahama Administration.

Dr. Pelpuo was appointed on the 21st January 2025.

A Thank You Message from Dr. Rashid Pelpuo

I am deeply honored and humbled by the confidence His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama has placed on me with my nomination as Minister for Labour, Jobs, and Employment. This appointment is a testament to the trust he has in my ability to serve the people of Ghana and contribute meaningfully to his transformative agenda for our nation.

I express my heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency for this opportunity to serve in such a vital role. The responsibility of addressing employment and labor issues at this critical juncture in our nation’s development is one I do not take lightly. I am committed to working diligently to ensure that the vision of His Excellency, particularly in creating sustainable jobs and fostering harmonious labor relations, is fully realized.

I also extend my appreciation to the people of Wa Central, whose unwavering support continues to inspire me to strive for excellence in every endeavor. This appointment reaffirms my commitment to serving their interests and the broader goals of our beloved nation.

I look forward to working with all stakeholders to deliver results that will improve the livelihoods of Ghanaians and enhance our collective prosperity. Together, we can build a stronger, more inclusive Ghana.
