In a Letter Dated 28th January 2024, the President, John Dramani Mahama has released a list of Vice presidential Staffers with Dr. Sharif Mahmoud Khalid, shortlisted as Policy Adviser on Economic Issues together with Dr. Hamza Zakaria.

Dr. Sharif Mahmoud Khalid is tasked to serve in the Office of Vice President, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang.

Appointments to the Office of the Vice President
President John Dramani Mahama has approved the appointment of the following
individuals to the Office of the Vice President. They are expected to bring their wealth of
experience and expertise to their respective roles and contribute significantly to the
Resetting Ghana agenda to build the Ghana we want.

5. Dr Samuel Ofosu Ampofo- Policy Adviser, Political
6. Prof. Sharif Mahmud Khalid- Policy Adviser, Economic
7. Dr. Hamza Zakaria- Policy Adviser, Economic
8. Ms. Mansa Amoa Awuah- Policy Adviser, Finance
