On Monday, 10th of February 2025, the Economic and Organized Crime Office(EOCO) was at the Wa West District to audit official documents of Teachers and other staff in the Ghana Education Service (GES).

It can be recalled that in 2024, There were reports that a Prisons Officer was reportedly found on the payroll of a Basic School in Tendoma located in the Wa West District.

EOCO shall be at Vieri on the 18th of February 2025 after which they will proceed to other circuits to audit certificates, promotion documents of Staff.

Statement

There will be an audit from EOCO on the 18/02/2025 at Vieri by 8 am.
ALL TEACHERS SHOULD GO WITH THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENT.

1. YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT LETTER ORIGINAL
2. GHANA CARD FRONT AND BACK COLOURED
3. All academic and professional certificates -originals and photocopies
4. Head teachers appointment letters
5. Current payslips
6. Printed Staff list of all teachers in the school
