Since the Establishment of Daffiama Senior High School in 1991, the Pre-Tertiary Institution has produced remarkable results in Academia, Graduating Skillful youth into the Job Market and Universities.

It can be recalled that In 2022, the School clocked first standing out Amongst Several senior High Schools in the Upper West Region as Best Performing SHS After the WASSCE Examinations.

During the School’s 2nd SRC Ceremony, on Monday 10th February 2025, Headmaster of the School Mr. Osbert Salifu Dambiah Appealed to Stakeholders including Ghana Education Service to establish a Befitting Administration Block for the School, The Administration Block Being Used Currently cannot house all resources of the Headmaster including his Desks, Books, Official Records, Computers etc.

Other Administration staff including Assistant Headmaster of Academics, Storekeeper, Accountant and Assistant Headmaster in charge of Administration are compelled to perform their duties in cubicles within the school.

Speaking to the School’s Senior Prefect by name Nangsoha Solomon, he revealed that the School’s Bus has been grounded making it difficult for students to travel for schooling activities, he added that the School’s Library, Science Laboratory aren’t well equipped lacking significant science and Home Economics texts books, Test Tubes etc.

The SRC Week Celebration was breathtaking, marked by a float through the heart of Daffiama Town.
