A murder case transmitted from the Wa Magistrate Court to Wa High Court on Wednesday, 26th February 2025 has attracted High police presence at the Wa High Court early hours of Today.

The Tight Security wasn’t present during previous court sittings till The Case involving Abdul Halim Yahaya also known as Adaalee and Isaac Anaatakang @ Dapilah was transmitted.

Abdul Halim Yahaya is accused of being involved in the murder of Jontong Naa Mutala Tendana in the First Quarter of 2024, he was discovered in a pool of blood by his family when they went to serve him food.

Police officers at the Wa High Court were led by Superintendent Franklin Kramoh.

The Case have attracted public interest with several people trooping to the Wa Magistrate Court Promises and now to Wa High court premises to witness how trail is ongoing.

The Judge, His Lordship Justice Yussif Assibey indicated that some Media reportages have made the case sensitive attracting criticisms and negative remarks.

He pledged to prosecute any media or individual giving sensitive reportages contrary to what is discussed in Court.

The Case was adjourned to 14th of March 2025.

It was heard on the 18th and 21st of February at the Wa Magistrate Court, Two witnesses were mentioned but weren’t present at the Wa High Court.
